June 14th is Flag Day in the United States, so get out there and unfurl Old Glory.

Fly our Flag every day. Flag Day is usually pleasant around here cuz it's My Chief's birthday, too. Gorgeous day today, hot but not too humid...waiting for him to get off work so we can enjoy the rest of it together.

Hope Paco's Faithful ALL have a terrific day!

Mohammed! Mr. H keeps promising to take our two flags down to the American Legion to retire them (they're torn, and we won't fly them that way), but here it is Flag Day, and I still don't have a new flag to put up.

Yay! I am saved! I remembered I had a handful of smallish flags I put out in the front flower jungle every year on July 4. So out they went. Thanks for the heads up!

KC: I wasn't going to mention it, but just to mark the coincidence, today is my birthday, too. Happy birthday to your "Chief"!

Rebecca: Innovate, adapt, overcome. I knew you could do it!

Well Happy Birthday to you, too, Paco! You bring so much that's interesting & fun to our lives, I hope your day is everything you need it to be...or WAS everything you need it to be, since it's getting a bit late in the day now.

Hubby & I went out for a bite then watched some US Open & baseball. All in all, everything you could want in a day...

Life Is Good.

Thanks for the birthday wishes. I turned 53 - you know, practically waiting for the end.

I'll be 53 in November, Paco...too busy to be waiting for any blinkin' end! Today Lovely Daughter took Daddy to see Iron Man & I'm working my way through a big pile of overripe bananas, changing them into fat-free banana-macadamia-pineapple bread. House smells good, but I think the AC needs adjusting.

53!?! Pfft!

Babies yet.
