G'Day, Brunhilde

This article's a little old, but it was linked by Gateway Pundit in a post on witchcraft in America.

Lotta Gaia worshippers fit right in with witchcraft, especially since many sects have expanded to include a diverse population.

Religion of this kind isn't about Faith in a loving Power Greater than oneself, it's about Personal Power. "Diversity" is used to be able to include others who have no standards.

This story makes me smile, since it reminds me of growing up in Marin County, California. I am the only person I know who has said "My High School friend just broke up with that witch" and meant it as a comment on her religion, not her personality. :).

Mike: Haw! I would say "only in California", but I'm afraid the weirdness has become general.
