I'd Pay to See That, Nancy

Pelosi says she'll push a health care bill through congress if she has to "pole vault" it through.

Like this?

Update: Looks like it was just Pelosi's last bluff.

The combination of "Nancy Pelosi" and "pole vault" by you in this post has caused damaging images to spring forth in my mind causing me great duress.

and some giggling.

Boy, it took the Dhimmicrats all of 2 days to give up on their colossal crap sandwich.

I wonder how it feels to The Once™ to get thrown under the bus?

I guess pole vaulting was a logical alternative after the mishap with ski vaulting.

/cue the "Thrill of Victory and the Agony of Defeat" footage.

Yojimbo: How well I remember that intro to - what was it? - The Wide World of Sports? I always wondered how badly that guy was injured, and I think I recall reading somewhere that he only got a couple of broken ribs.

I don't trust Lucretia Pelosi. Her plan to pass "small bits" of the bill just seem like sneakery-as-usual to me.

Pacosan: Yes, it was the Wide World of Sports on ABC. It went something like "Spanning the globe to bring you the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat."

Rebecca -- exactly right. Time to be very very vigilante.

Oopsie! I meant "vigilant". Heh!

Jeff/Rebecca: I think you're both right.

As an elderly skinny Caucasian woman, if Pelosi tried pole vaulting anything taller than the steps to Air Pelosi where she gets all that taxpayer-funded liquor, she'd be in a nursing home recovering from all those broken bones for a looooong time.

Hmmmmmmmm.
