Arizona being sued by the government...of Mexico

The government of Mexico is trying to conduct foreign policy through litigation, as it joins in a suit filed by - who else? - the ACLU.

I was listening to Mark Levin on the radio during the drive home this evening, and heard him mention that the Landmark Legal Foundation has filed a brief against the Mexican action. Here's the brief filed by Landmark.

One of the reasons Mexico is horning in so vigorously is because illegal immigration to the U.S. from that country accomplishes two things: (1) illegals in the U.S. send a ton of money back home, and (2) the flow of people into the U.S. serves as a safety valve, permitting a long succession of corrupt regimes to avoid implementing changes that would improve the lives of the population in general, and the poor in particular.

Where will our president come down on all of this?

C'mon. You knew the answer, didn't you?

El marrano sucio.*

*With apologies for mangling the language - it seems an appropriate bit of blather. Apology also to barnyard animal.

The government of Mexico can, if you will pardon my bluntness, go to hell.

I would be willing to do The Mexican Hat Dance if Barry would be willing to leave the hat on.

Mexico's lawsuit, and the reasons for it as outlined by Paco, should be trumpeted in the US from border to border. Anybody who's undecided now will quickly join the secure borders brigade.

Anybody know how to reverse engineer Montezuma's Revenge?

Gotta love Mark Levin! How about "we the people" bring a class action against Mexico for a variety of reasons, aiding and abetting internatioal criminal activity, costs (education, health, etc.), just to mention a few.

RebeccaH, why reverse it when we can name a similar malaise? Black Jack's Revenge.

Well I just heard that there was a not a single member of the Tijuana Brass from south of the border.

Take that, Mexico!

We caught the Tijuana Brass bug real bad here in Oz in the early 60's. Every schoolkid was in a mariachi band, for a while. I always thought 'Herb Alpert' was a typical South American name.
