Czar deposed

Obama’s “Transparency Czar” has been whisked away – not to Ekaterinburg, but to the Czech Republic, as ambassador. His duties have been handed over to an ex-lobbyist who is, to put it mildly, not a fan of disclosure.

Hypocritical, of course, but, really, what was the Preshizzle to do? He doesn’t need an Opacity Czar; that’s the one thing he’s good at, himself.

Doubtless ill deserved, but it's nice work if you can get it. Prague is one of the most beautiful cities I've visited and I remember strolling past the embassy in Mala Strana and wondering exactly what one has to do to get a gig like that (dubious presidential services was actually pretty high on my list).

Someone pointed out the new parasite is a lawyer, which means Obie can now hide his transparency transgressions behind attorney-client privilege.

Hmmm. Maybe Obama is coordinating with this lawyer to Cover His Ass when he leaves office. For sure there are going to be some mighty important questions about what he did while he was there.

He may be a lawyer, but unless he's retained by Bambi personally, there is no privilege.

Lawyers are a dime a dozen in DC.
