I see this as a positive. The more paranoid that smirky little ape becomes, the less effective he or his so-called government can be. It's pretty obvious there are powerful movements (not necessarily America-friendly, democratic movements, but perhaps pragmatic ones) in Iran who are out to get him and his lunatic "12th imam" cohorts.
Plus, I don't like him just because that squinch-eyed, lunatic rictus-grin constantly on his face is beyond annoying.

I pity the attacker; the Iranians aren't gentle with minor criminals; I hope the assassin has a poison tooth, or some such.
