Merchants of death

As bad as the Fast and Furious scandal has been up to now, it just keeps getting worse. Doug Ross reports that the U.S. may have been the chief enabler for the Sinaloa Cartel (H/T: Smitty, who opines that this fiasco could sink the administration).

Update: Not just worse, but worse by the hour. Mr. G points out that the U.S. government might have been permitting drugs to move north, as well as guns to move south.

Thanks for the link. The Obama administration is neck deep in this operation and the only way they'll get out of it unscathed is if the MSM neglects to cover the story. The justice department has been very uncooperative in the investigation. Eric Holder must be feeling the pressure of the rope around his neck.

And that would be rope from Paco Enterprises' fine Hemp and Yardarm Division!

I think I heard that the cocaine gambit started five years ago although I can't imagine the Bush Administaration doing something like that.

We know for sure that the Obama Administration allowed guns to cross the border into Mexico, which is bad enough. But to be fair, we only have the word of a drug dealer on trial about the drug thing. And I can't imagine the Bush Administration allowing that, either, but then I've lost faith in a lot of things lately.

Rebecca, the safer bet is to believe that there are no depths to which Obama and his flying monkeys will sink to.

That way, you won't be disappointed, nor overly shocked, and possibly even mildly surprised at the revelations yet to come.

I'm with JeffS here (aka 'anonymous'). My expectations of what this administration would do are SO low. Disgusted, but never surprised.
