For the record, I wouldn't support this if the genders were reversed, either. Domestic violence is domestic violence, and rape is rape, regardless of what Whoopi Goldstupid says.

I call that the "paying my abusive ex a monthly bribe so he won't be tempted to murder me when he gets out of jail".
Of course, it all depends on how crazy he really is. I hope she's got good security.
