Classy network ya got there, Al

"Keith Olbermann fired from Current TV, replaced by Eliot Spitzer"
In 2011, Olbermann left MSNBC for Current, but apparently things weren't going so smoothly. Current founders Al Gore and Joel Hyatt released a statement that reads:

We created Current to give voice to those Americans who refuse to rely on corporate-controlled media and are seeking an authentic progressive outlet. We are more committed to those goals today than ever before.

Current was also founded on the values of respect, openness, collegiality, and loyalty to our viewers. Unfortunately these values are no longer reflected in our relationship with Keith Olbermann and we have ended it.

We are moving ahead by honoring Current's values.
And those values are reflected by...Eliot Spitzer?

Well, they went from a media whore to a whore's medium. Not much of a change there.

After Spitzer...( I was going to say, has his trainwreck, but how can one have a trainwreck on a nothing network) leaves, John Edwards will probably need a paycheck, or Roseanne Barr.

We're merely being given a taste of what Al Gore's administration would have been like if he'd been elected.
