There was at least one act of justice today

The contempt in which Eric Holder has long been held was formalized by the House of Representatives this afternoon.
The House on Thursday cited Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. for contempt of Congress in a vote weighted with political significance — though it does little to break the stalemate over his decision to withhold documents over the Justice Department’s actions in a botched gun-walking operation.

The House voted 255-67 to hold him in criminal contempt in a vote that amounted to a political spanking for Mr. Holder and President Obama, underscored by the 17 Democrats who joined the GOP.

Now the battle begins to keep Holder et al from characterizing the contempt vote as "partisan" and "political". Seventeen Democrats voted to hold him in contempt, even though they probably did so to satisfy their constituencies, but I like to think some part of them recognized it was the right thing to do.

Bloggers, in their numbers, are doing the work that old media and our Gramscian-poisoned government apparatus refuses to do. Keep up the good work, Mr. Paco sir.

AG Holder shows why a reintroduction of the stocks in the public square has become quite attractive.
… and flogging.
