Assortment

I know, it's a target-rich environment, but Tree Hugging Sister finds a particularly idiotic useful idiot.

Our foreign policy is definitely on autopilot.

Never mind us, for a moment; are Egyptian Christians better off than they were four years ago?

The ATF: faster and furiouser than we thought.

Cyclist down!

You could just sort of feel the IQ average in the room falling...

Obama's math skills are, if you can believe it, getting even worse.

What's a fashion-conscious striker to do?

A sandwich? What are you, some kind of racist?

Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches: the slippery slope.

Now, this is what I call a flagrant miscarriage of justice.

Well, sure, where else would he keep it?

I think Fast and Furious should be referred to as the "drug cartel bailout program."

the ATF dishonest and misleading?!
Here is video of Andrew Traver, the grand poobah of the ATF Chicago Field Office on a Chicago TV station using a full auto AK-47 as an example of why assault weapons are bad. Traver, by the way, was Obama's pick to be the ATF director.

You would think that as an ATF special agent in Illinois he would know that even if you comply with all the federal National Firearms Act regulations and even if you could afford its artificially inflated price, an individual cannot own a machine gun in Illinois due to state law.

Totally co-incidentally, the gun control group the Violence Policy Center suggests "The weapons' menacing looks, coupled with the public's confusion over fully automatic machine guns versus semi-automatic assault weapons anything that looks like a machine gun is assumed to be a machine gun can only increase the chance of public support for restrictions on these weapons."

btw, Illinois also has laws against carrying guns, shooting guns in neighborhoods and even laws against murder but the assumption is that one more law will be the one the murders and drug dealers will decide to follow.

Kafka in Qld

A few years ago my brother got a ticket from the City of Chicago claiming, oddly enough, that he had been illegally parked in Chicago while he, his family and his car were in Colorado. In order to contest the ticket he would have to take off work, drive to chicago, pay a $200 fee and hope that common sense would prevail. He paid the bogus ticket.

I'd say the collective IQ went to negative integers in the vicinity of the DNC.
