The stupid is strong in this one

Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-bag, Rhode Island), tries to tie the recent terrible flurry of tornadoes to Republicans and their skepticism about global warming.

To call this moronic would be understating it considerably.

I used to live in Tornado Alley (which, yes goes all the way up to Canada, folks) and this HAD to happen eventually. In fact, it's happened before, but not as bad.

There's a lot of open country out there on the plains, and not much city - but statistics play no favorites.

My advice: have a shelter. Even a small one is better than your bare skin.

Poorly timed?! Not linked?! Yeah. Right. I've got some (not so) prime real estate .....

I told her that isn't it interesting that when a blue state is struck by tragedy Republicans don't protest relief funding because the believe in man-made global climate change.

On the up-side, his DC office phones are melting. Could it be climate change? Now that's climate change I can believe in.

This government is a target-rich environment.

Oh my, was that eliminationist rhetoric?

Tough cookies.

Insty's "Tweet of the Day", from Donny Ferguson:

What’s crazier? Alex Jones saying government can control tornadoes with satellites or Democrats [Babs Boxer yesterday, Sheldon Whitehouse today] saying they can control them with tax hikes?
