Thing is, I see a video with all of those people trying to use a shotgun annually. Whenever I requalify one of the instructors shows it.

Thing is, I'm 6'2" and 240 pounds. We shoot 18 rounds of 12 gauge 00 buck to qualify, and even with my size and weight I always end up with a bruised shoulder. There's a lot of technique in firing one properly, which means training, Even still a smaller person may not be able to safely manage one.

On the other hand, even kids can learn to handily manage an AR-15. With modern holographic or red dot sights and lasers, they're deadly accurate out to 500 yards (assuming a well trained and competent shooter).

Yup, shotguns are brutal, both for giving and taking, the classic "spray and pray" firing mode. This is especially true of the smaller, simpler shotguns.

Which tells me that if ol' Plugs really has fired one, someone handed him a light load, and snickered.

I think the only gun they let Biden have is one that shoots out a little flag that has "BANG! written on it.
